Okay. I'm getting a little tired of dealing with the, "Can't you control your boys?!" looks of moms-of-girls. They're boys. Boys like to run, jump, punch each other, etc., If you don't like it, ask your girls to stay away from the "mean, dirty ol' boys." There is only so much that moms-of-boys can do.
Please don't take this the wrong way, Moms of Girls. I am happy to rescue your girls from my boys when warranted. But, most of the time, they are all happily playing and running around together and your daughters have a choice to walk away when the boys get too rough. I can't tell my boys to "stop being boys." This is what you are asking us moms-of-boys to do. Do the research; boys and girls are different.

Yes, I agree, that enviornment does play a role; however, I'm one of the girliest moms you will ever meet and I cannot keep them from running, jumping and chasing. If a girl happens to get in the way, I immediately take action and have my sons ask for forgiveness, and I even ask them to "slow down," "watch where you are running," etc., But that's all I can do moms!
Before I had children, I remember thinking, "My boys will NOT be like that." I chimed in with the rest of the moms-of-girls about, "Why can't that mother control her boys!?" 3 boys later, and all I can do is laugh at my ignorance! Please take a moment to remember the natural differences between boys and girls at your next social outing. You wouldn't want them to be exactly the same, would you? As humans, we have a natural attraction to the opposite sex. Imagine the world without mean, dirty ol' boys. I can't.
Next time you are with a mom-of-boys, don't judge; empathize! Remember that she is doing all that she can to raise her little heathens to be the gentlemen they will one day be. Try enagaging her about life in a "house of testosterone." I'm sure she has some entertaining stories to tell you: What I wouldn't give to take my 3 boys for a spa day! Pink. Somewhere, anywhere, pink. A day without bandaids? Even better.

Mommies Can't Go Potty
It's not a good thing when you hear, "If you don't stop, I'm gonna punch your face!!," while going to the bathroom and you can't, eh hem, do anything about it. I have 3 boys: Michael 8, Logan 5 and Liam 3. For the most part they get along well, but there are days that I'm like, "Really?!" I can't even go potty in peace?! Ugh.
We are remodeling our home right now, so we have at least 5 workers in our house at one time. Thank goodness they don't understand, "BOYS! Stop it! Mommy is going potty!!!" They were yelling so loud that I had to get off, open the window, and yell "up" to their room , "DO YOU HEAR ME??? Mommy is on the potty!" Of course, when I finished, I marched up the stairs to go all "mean mommy" on them and they were on each other like 2 mad dogs. I needed a waterhose. I think the workers must think I'm a crazy person because of all the yelling they hear around here. A babysitter that used to work for us once commented to another worker that I was like a "lion." That's "Miss" Lion, I'll have you know. Thank you.
Next time this happens, I quit. Wait, moms can't quit. Okay, next time this happens somebody's gonna be in big trouble. I am Mommy hear me roooooaaaarrrr!!!

We Bought Our First House!!!
Finally, we own a house. After years of paying rent in Mexico, we were able to purchase a house. It has been a long process, as it is difficult for a foreigner to purchase a house in Mexico. We are now in the process of remodeling a "diamond in the rough" and, oh my, has it been tough!
I can finally see the end result of months of changes and challenges of living in a foreign country. The first big challenge was getting all of our toilets to work! Plumbing in Mexico is not the best and we had to replace all 6 bathrooms; for the master bathroom alone, we had to replace the toilet 3 times! Ugh! The second challenge was rewiring the whole house. There were holes in all of my newly painted walls (all the walls in Mexico are made of heavy concrete) for weeks. The original wiring had only 5 circuits and we put in an additional 22!!! No more circuit overloads when running the dryer, microwave and t.v. at the same time! Yes!
My favorite change is the third floor we built because of the amazing view it offers. I like to go up there before the kids wake up and drink my coffee. We are now working on all the small details: lighting, door knobs, closets, etc. I feel like the hardest part is over; although, we plan on adding a media room in the future. The house is now liveable! Whoo hoo!
Will I ever purchase a house and remodel it again? You betcha!
